CM Punk On His Acting Career, How Film Is Different Than Live TV, His Future And More Phil Brooks, also known as former WWE superstar CM Punk, is making his feature film debut in the horror movie, “Girl on the Third Floor,” which premiered October 25. Alex Biese of Asbury Park Press interviewed Brooks, who continues to craft his post-WWE career. Per Biese, Brooks discussed some of the challenges of his shift into an acting career. “‘I’m not even looking at dailies on set because that’s not my job,'” said Brooks via Biese. “‘I’m letting Travis [Stevens] do his job and I’m just doing mine.
